The residential wiring installation training module is designed for a structured practical wiring exercise done for residential wiring installations. The practical activities cover wiring circuits, layout design planning, electrical power and calculations, material calculation, safety consideration and wiring installations. All practical activities are structured using accurate documentation and proper execution of an installation in order to specifically prepare students for their future work in practice. All parts, except for consumables (wires) can be reused. Features : Special modular frames with boards that can be arranged in several shapes to resemble real situation of places where the installation activities are done. Each kit comes complete with cables, clips, screws, joint boxes, plugs and necessary electrical accessories for the installations requirements. installation instruction and circuit diagrams are provided in the experiment manual for the student to guide doing practical activities to meet the required standard practices and to achieve the educational objectives.Educational objectives :

• Installation of one-way switch with a control lamp and socket outlet.
• Installation of multi-switch with control lamps
• Installation of two-way switches and intermediate switch circuits with a control lamp and socket outlet.
• Installation of two-way switch, economy circuit with a control lamp.
• Installation of staircase switches
• Installation of current-surge circuit.
• Testing and commissioning of the circuits in accordance with installation and circuit diagrams
• Configuration of circuits in conduits or cable installations for fluorescent lamp circuits
• On/off circuit with a fluorescent lamp and socket
• Signaling circuit installation
• Low voltage control circuit installations
