The Edutech Programmable Logic Controller Trainer uses OMRON PLC products which are powerful and flexible systems ideally suited to your specialized needs. OMRON is a leader in industrial automation and many factories commonly use their products. The systems in our trainers are compatible with a variety of accessories and peripherals, thus allowing them to be easily expanded into larger systems.
This trainer is suitable for the students to develop competence in operating, programming, and trouble shooting modern PLC control circuits. Several models of trainers are available in different sizes. These trainers are Basic Training Package, intermediate training package and advanced training package according to their difficulty level and equipments needed.
A student experiment manual is provided to guide the student through the experiments. The experiments are chosen to cover the topics from basic familiarization of the PLC up to programming and applications.

The Edutech Fire Alarm Trainer is designed to introduce students and technicians to basic fire alarm systems. The fire security industry is a fast growing sector in many economies that requires skilled technicians for installation and maintenance of alarm systems.
This trainer will teach prospective technicians about the characteristics of fire alarm systems, function of the various components, placement and use of fire alarm sensors, set up and programming of electronic controls, installation, maintenance of security systems, fault finding and troubleshooting.
This system is based upon a programmable electronic microprocessor based central alarm unit that is equipped with many types of the most common sensors and signaling devices. The system is clearly laid out on a panel type mobile frame that allows for easy wiring and connection.

The EDT-EMS Electrical Motor System consists of a wide range of multifunctional motor types commonly used in industrial applications. The electric motors listed below are specifically chosen for training applications in respect to the sizes and power output. All of these electric motors can be utilized in conjunction with the Edutech Electrical Training Systems. All motors have sturdy bases with all wiring connections brought out to 4 mm safety terminals. Connection leads with banana plugs facilitate quick and easy connections between the motor and motor controls.

Edutech provides the above motors in power ranges from 0.20 kW (1/4 Hp) to 3.0 kW (4 Hp). We provide their power ranges so that the school may choose the type and size of motor that best meet their training needs. To indicate motors power rating, add onto the model number the size of the requirement in kilowatts (kW). For example EDT-EMS-10-3kW signifies an AC Three Phase Slip Ring Motor with a 3 kW power rating.

The Edutech “Electrical Circuit Fault Trainer” is designed to provide a course on the operation and trouble shooting for electrical control circuits. It has unique training capabilities with a fault insertion system which is useful as a teaching aid in fault finding or troubleshooting the electrical control circuits. Students learn about manual and automatic control circuits that use magnetic contactors, thermal overload, timer, switches, push buttons and also MCB and ELCB as safety devices.

FEATURES:
This unit consists of various real industrial components that are common to electrical installation and control circuits. These components are mounted onto a training display board and their electrical connections are brought out to 4mm terminals. During the student exercises connections are made by test leads, which gives the student through the experiments, and provides the necessary theoretical background to allow students to successfully complete the educational objectives.
Connections between the components are made by using stackable 4mm test leads which plug into 4mm color-coded heavy-duty captive-head binding posts. Each component is equipped with up to four faults by using fault-insertion switches. A total of 30 faults are provided.

in domestic and commercial applications of these systems. In the program the students will learn

This is a system with recording facilities has features similar to small commercial applications which is
normally used as an augment to a security guard station. The system consists of 4 cameras

The Edutech Basic Electrical Measurement Trainer is ideal for learning the fundamentals of electrical measurement. The trainer provides a set of components modules which are specially designed fro performing all experiments of electrical measurements.

The experiments will guide the students in learning the theory and practical aspects of basic electrical measurements as well as the use of various instrumentation. The students are encouraged to explore the electrical circuit deeper by creating many different circuits which is possible because the modular components system allows the students to replace or add components individually.
The trainer comes with a three level frame which accommodates three sizes of modules (A3, A4 and A5). The frame is available on a bench top type which is suitable for limited space like student laboratory workbench, and a mobile frame type which is designed for easy movement therefore it is suitable for demonstration purpose by the teachers.
The component modules are made from clear material with components symbol on them for easy reference. The connections between components are made by the means of flexible color coded jumper leads. Socket and plugs are in 4mm system.
